Sub-Floor Preparation
Your sub-floor is the foundation of your flooring system – analysing and correcting any issues is a crucial, but often overlooked step, in achieving a high-quality result.
The attention to detail Town & Country put into this phase, is what sets us apart from the rest.
Avoid Issues Later On
Whether you will be installing new timber, vinyl, cork, or laminate flooring, we make sure your subfloor is clean and dry, level to Australian timber flooring standards, and structurally sound.
This isn’t guess work, we use tools like moisture meters, and check for high or low areas, in multiple spots, for variances across your subfloor – sanding any high spots and fixing any low spots, according to your floor type.
Quality That Extends Beyond The Eye
You also have piece of mind knowing we don’t cut costs on your sub-floor preparation materials.
We are proud to say we’ve been using the same non-toxic and high-quality specialty adhesives, underlays, and subfloor preparation methods for over a decade – which were designed by specialists, for specialists.
Supply & Installation
We design and install beautiful, yet practical floors, for you to live on, not around.
Laying your floor is not a careless process, and no matter what style or budget you’re working with, we take immense care when putting things in place.
We Don't Take Shortcuts
As mentioned above, our highly qualified team of contractors follow strict sub-floor preparation methods.
In addition – prior to starting the installation, we check materials thoroughly for faults or defects, and plan perimeter fixings and expansion gaps.
Shared Vision & Accountability
At Town & Country, we understand the importance of working with other trades to get the best possible outcome for you.
We’ve been doing this for a long time, meaning we’ve had a lot of experience coordinating with other trades and developed strong industry relationships along the way.
Sanding & Coating
We have sanding equipment to suit all types of flooring. By using advanced machinery, we are able to remove impurities from your floor and create a level and smooth surface.
Once sanding is complete, we can apply your desired finish. Finishes are applied by our specialists to seal and protect the timber from external factors such as dirt and dust, spills etc.
Finishing Strong
The coatings we use are of the highest quality, low toxicity levels, and offer different levels of durability.
Finishes also differ from one another in appearance, meaning that some finishes may lend themselves more to your home than others.
Flooring can also be stained or treated to change the look of the timber and achieve unique colours.
