If you are looking for a budget-friendly and versatile flooring option that offers the look and feel of natural timber flooring, without the high cost or maintenance, laminate might be your ideal match.
Firstly, Laminate is not Hybrid Vinyl or timber flooring. It's a high quality printed image of a particular species of timber encased between a technologically advanced wear layer, made from a combination of aluminum oxide and melamine, giving exceptional resistance to scratches, dents, liquids (YES! A water-proof surface is available in all our Quick-Step ranges) and acidic substances, permanent markers, UV light - the list of benefits goes on and on!
The water resistant HDF core board is made of compressed fibres of recovered wood and is balanced with a melamine backing layer. Some of our higher-end laminate options even feature embossed textures and beveled edges that mimic the look of real wood planks - without both the environmental or personal cost to you.
Our Laminate floors are compatible with and warranted to be installed over underfloor heating.
With the right underlay, they can also be soundproof to the level/s below. This makes laminate perfect for a busy workplace, or an energetic household. With large or tiny feet constantly running, dancing, performing magnificent aerobics, or your own risky business moments... you may just find yourself falling for how quiet they are!

That’s why it’s down on our display floor and hard to walk past, even if you haven’t already listened to us gushing about it.

An oldie but a goodie. This classic range has been round for a while, like 20 years!
It’s still kickin with the new cool kids because it offers a thinner width plank at 156mm wide & a non-bevel edge if you like a nice smooth waterproof surface.
Some colours even offer a more ‘satin’ finish (Spotted Gum and Blackbutt) which is a pretty cool option if you don't mind cleaning regularly.
Classic

These boards are slightly shorter in length, coming in at 1200mm.
Some colours have a dark imitation bevel/join on the edge of the planks. This works to give the plank more definition on the floor which suits those looking to making their floor a real feature.
With a great price point and warranty it's easy to see why it's considered the 'classic'.
CLIX Plus

There are some great colours in this range, it performs really well and it gives you a 20 year wear warranty with a 3 year water damage warranty.
